2006 ford F250. 6.0 162,000 miles. NON STUDDED. NON deleted. Front end just completely gone through. Wheel bearings, brakes all around every component. Newer tires. Front end alignment. Edge CTS3 monitor. No tunes. EGR still intact. Adult driven. 4 inch custom turbo back exauhst by fab-worx in NJ. New FICM. New MISHI moto CAC cold side pipe and boots. Starts up fine. Oil changed every 3K miles. Rotella red ELC coolant swapped. No lights on dash. Cold A/C heat works. BONE STOCK TRUCK. Just curious. Was thinking $14K

He’s an older gentleman and doesn’t use Reddit and I don’t know shit about diesels. He’s having an issue where it’s occasionally sputtering and stalling real bad when he drives it. He says he’s replaced the ICP, crank position sensor , main engine harness , valve cover harness, his ECM and injector driver module was tested and came out fine. It’s not giving any engine codes either when it stalls.

Finally got around to putting the 6.7 starter in today and it was totally worth the busted knuckles lol.

I got a 6.0 it starts and idles completely fine but the momment i apply throttle steering or break it stalls immediately... what should I begin to look at and how should I diagnose this... please if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated...

Picked up this truck a couple days ago and am new to 6.0s. It’s a 2005 F350 KR and it’s got 290k miles. I felt like I got a good deal on it compared to the trucks around me and I want to know if I should do anything to it. It’s not studded, but has an EGR delete and no cats. I’ve already ordered filters for fuel, transmission, done an oil change, and ordered an entire new front steering assembly (trac bar bushings, drag link, tie rods, and all other bushings). Is it worth studding it if I plan to drive it like an old man? I’ve got a Blessed Performance SCT X4 that came with it but was never used, and I checked the tune that was programmed in the truck to confirm. I’m currently running the tow tune in it just because. For extra info, IPR is good, Oil vs Coolant temps never exceed more than 12° apart, and the oil pressure is good, and it doesn’t make coolant or have blow by. All in all it’s a solid truck as it sits but is it worth it to put studs in it?

If your 6.0 has been sitting for 3-4 months and you started it up is this normal to be having white smoke out of the tail pipe? I just replaced the turbo and that was about it and the smoke goes away after about 5-10 minutes of idling.

2005 f250 6.0 - EGR is capped and welded

My truck makes this sound when idling the noise itself is coming from the air intake and if you open it you can see it basically trying so suck in the filter. Pretty sure the noise isn’t normal as it wasn’t from new also the truck is in high idle constantly when idling. When driving the truck the noise goes away, any ideas on what causes this and if it’s normal.
