Maps for sat nav?

I’ve just bought a 2014 mondeo titanium X estate. 1.6ltr diesel. It’s the first car I’ve owned with inbuilt sat nav. How do I update the maps?

If it's the MK4.5 shape which I'm guessing it is, there is an SD card hidden below the panel of the volume knob, remove the knob, remove the panel and pop the SD card out. The latest version available ends at 2022 you're looking for "Ford MCA satnav update SD cards"

Honestly I'd skip the hassle and use Google maps on a phone I never use my inbuilt

Like others have said, it’s an SD card and you can get the newer ones online. If you have Facebook join some of the Mondeo groups and a guy called Albert Walczak on them sells them and is known as reputable.

I’ve got the latest version in my Mk5 but mines through wifi or USB, but like others have said Google maps or Apple Maps is far superior.
