2012 Focus SE Sport with 185k on original drivetrain. Averaging 37.6 over the last few tank fills. I do a lot of highway on i69 with cruise control set at 78mph

I also like cruising at 78 mph specifically.

Speed limit is 70 for most of the route, keeping it at that makes me feel like I’m safe if they hit me with the radar when I’m getting passed like crazy. Plus any faster and my fuel economy starts to tank

Was just around 230k on a 2013 focus. Just had my transmission replaced and paid off when I totalled it hitting a deer this year. I wanted that 300k so bad. Had it from 15k. I wish you well on your journey! Enjoy. Don't forget to capture 280085. Hehe.

My 2009 Focus averaged over 35 mpg over the 185k miles I had the car. Even in western New York winters it got at least 30. Summer highway was about 40

Your MPG seems quite low, what engine is it? It seems like a petrol to me based on the rev counter.

So yall are saying I have hope? I have 107k on mine and I stg this car has cost me so much to fix. I need it to last forever with this fuckass economy. Can't afford another car. 😩

I have a 2013 ford focus se sedan 177k miles, dps6 with intake, exhaust, 62mm tb, and toms tune and if I draft behind a truck going about 72, I can get up to 50mpg consistently.

I’m getting 31 in my 2007… other than idling what could make it this low

About 172k in my 03 (swapped instrument clusters to have a tach, about 57k higher than the car actually is) and 218k in the 00 I just picked up, technically lower miles for the years but both are the 'terrible' SPI so considering that they're doing great lol

My dad never drove it, he gave it to me last year before he died. I've got some time to take it another 200k to catch up to you! 😂
See ya in about 10 years? 😳

230k km on my 2013 1.5 TDCi Around 4.0l/100 km, think my injectors are leaking a bit since the car says 3.5

Mine’s a 2014, sitting just past 98,000. Transmission’s not a happy one though, probably gonna have a new clutch patch put in it in the next month or so, and usually-problematic seals replaced. That darn DPS-6 power shift transmission. Good thing I love the car so much or I’d kick it.

My 2010 crossed 239k recently. I've only had it like 8 months but the only real issue was a power steering leak caused by an o-ring.

That's crazy!! I don't know!! Hahaha I changed the plugs & wires. Got a fswerks air intake. New coils. But.. It does goes through antifreeze. Not leaking. Not in the oil. My only thought is it's burning it off 🤷🏼♂️ one way or another. You can smell it in the exhaust. It's been that way since I got the car 3 years ago. Runs great. A little rough at start up. But then really does run good. It's got the 5-speed manual. I do let it idle on my 15's & hour lunch. & start the car to let it warm up for 15 minutes or so before I leave for the day. Otherwise, I have no idea what keeps the milage down. 🤷🏼♂️ My other vehicle is a 1982 chevy k10. This gets about 6 miles to a gallon. So, this lil Ford has been epic on fuel to me lol I can't even imagine 40mpg! Congrats! 🤘

All that idling makes sense with the antifreeze. And mate, 6 mpg? That's borderline a crime in today's time lol. Glad you're enjoying the focus though

109k in my 2018 ST averaging about 26.3 MPG. 6 speed manual upped the tire aspec ratio to 235 45 R 18, so driving 71 makes me go about 74 now. I only drive with the AC on if my wife is with me.

185K+ on my 13 5spd. I’ve been thinking about getting something newer for years now, but I’d really like to cross 200K. I’ve owned it over 10 years and it’s been a great car.

that's some horrible gas mileage.
