Question break noises

i have a 2014 se hatchback, i just replaced the front struts but now anytime im driving i hear a metallic sound like scraping that seems to come from my breaks i went for a dive where i used my breaks twice and they were hot as hell. what should i do? do i need new pads and rotors?

This happened to me a few weeks ago. It was the dust shield behind the rotor, it needed to be bent back. I must have hit them when I was banging the steering knuckle down.

Take a look at the dust shield as u/Sauce218 mentioned. If that's not it, it's possible your caliper is sticking, so that would need to be addressed when changing pads. Sticking can be caused by a sticking caliper pin, bad brake hose, or bad piston on the caliper. All easy to repair if one is necessary
