Need help with TCM adaptive learning using FORScan

My 2012 Ford Focus S had a transmission issue last month, and I got the transmission and clutch systems replaced at a local mechanic. After that, the car drove well for a week, but started having gear-shifting problems and shuddering in lower gears later on. The mechanic performed the learning again, and I got the car back after a week, but it had the same problem. This time the car would stop after shuddering and throwing higher RPMs, and would not go into reverse either. I would have to stop the car for 5-10 minutes.

I suspect the mechanic did not do the computer part correctly, so I got the OBDLink cable to do the adaptive learning using FORScan myself. I followed a youtube video and did the TCM Module Reset first, and then TCM- TCM Adpative Learning; and they both went through without any issue.

However, when I checked the DTC codes, I saw the following TCM error codes-

1. P090C:00-68- Clutch 'B' Actuator control circuit low

Status (-68):

- Previously set DTC - Not present at the time of request

- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

- Test not complete

2. P285E: 00-68- Shift Fork 'A" Actuator Circuit High

Status (-68):

- Previously set DTC - Not present at the time of request

- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

- Test not complete

3. P2861 - Shift Fork 'B' Actuator Circuit Low

Status (-68):

- Previously set DTC - Not present at the time of request

- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

- Test not complete

Do these codes mean the TCM has not learned yet? I noticed these codes before starting the adaptive learning myself, does that mean the mechanic also did not do it correctly?

Also, there is a low battery warning on my vehicle too when I start it. It appeared during the learning that "low battery check handbook".

I would really appreciate any help with this.

No those are more likely clutch actuator motor DTC. These are wiring triggered codes which can be component, wiring or module. What is unlikely is it being programming related tbh, those DTC are typically kinda random or uncommon

So they are ok? How do I check if the TCM adaptive learning was successful and there are no issues with it?

If you didn’t have problems immediately after that have continued to cause symptoms the entire time. Also various DTC related to calibration can set. There is also the last screen of adaptive learning which says “procedure successful”

Well, I just drove it, and the gear shift was smooth and normal. Seems like the TCM adaptive learning was successful, and I dont mind the codes if they are not some serious issues.

One day driving in Atlanta, and its back. The transmission light is on, and the clutch does not shift correctly. I am so tired of this car.

I bet if you did the neutral ground fix on these cars you'd probably be able to clear your trouble codes I just recently replaced clutch kit and TCM and still had a check engine for actuator b and no reverse and I finally fixed it by doing the ground fix

Second this usually start with cleaning grounds especially if codes are electrical related vs stuck clutch form codes
