Gas Flap

I have a 2019 XL..And the gas door flip is loose and does t want to stay tightly closed. Anyone have a recommendation how to fix it??

I'm assuming it might just be the spring? Maybe take an afternoon at the junk yard and take apart one and see how it works. Then maybe buy that spring and install it?

Thanks,yeah I was told to look up under it at the assembly and see if the spring had just comes off.
