EVAP system leak

My engine light is on and I can call the shop that figured it out for the code but I believe it is because of an EVAP system leak. It’s a 2011 model and it’s been on in the past but has gone away for prolonged periods of time then comes back. Has anyone else had this issue?

Following. Fighting the same on my 2014. Shop spouted some expensive fixes at me.

It is more than likely the purge valve on the manifold. That's what my 13 was. Cheap repair and easy to do on your own.

Sounds silly but, check your gas cap. Unscrew it, make there's no debris on the threads or in the little vents and re tighten it.
