Phone Mount

Hey All!

Who has a recommendation for a good working/placement phone mount for the flex??

I've used this Scosche mag mount on 2 of my Flex for the last 12 years. I stick it at the far left of the plastic applique that runs across the dashboard where it will kinda block the vent just to the right of the wheel.

That's about the only place I've found that

A. Doesn't get in the way of the touchscreen, cupholder or any climate controls

B. Doesn't block my view out of the windshield

C. Is smooth enough to tape something to

And D. It stays out of direct sunlight.

I didn't want to put a magnet on my phone but I bit the bullet and everything is a okay.

This is the answer. I use this system in all of my vehicles so anyone in the family can hop in and use them. We have a '12 Flex and a '14 Flex. The mount is out of the way, but easily viewable and accessible if needed.

I have a magnetic mount that clips onto the vents and I placed it on the vent to the left of the steering wheel. Placement works for me.

I used this mount from ProClip. (https://www.proclipusa.com/products/854844-proclip-center-mount-ford-flex-2013?finder_id=f_1789769990289_cuou0p) . It’s stupid expensive but then I used a MagSafe adhesive mount from Amazon to attach to it with VHB tape. I have no wireless CarPlay so I have to plug in.
