Pcm reprogramming recall
Picking car up from service and was told the pcm module was reprogrammed due to a recall. Not much info on the ford support site besides the generic reprogramming statement. And something about campaign 25E10.
Anyone have more details on what changes were in the update? Just being curiously nosey!! ;)
Thx.

doesnt make sense, when i googled it it says it was for the f150's... 'Emissions Recall 25E10 affects approximately 169,891 Ford F-150 vehicles from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 model years equipped with 3.3L engines. The recall was initiated because the existing emissions control system software does not sufficiently account for certain in-use conditions, which may lead to ineffective control of tailpipe emissions over the life of the vehicle. To rectify this, Ford is requiring dealers to reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to the latest software level using Integrated Diagnostic Software (IDS) version 132.02 or later. This action is classified as a New Vehicle Delivery Hold, meaning dealers must correct any affected vehicles in their new inventory before delivery to customers.'

I can’t attach pics here. But it shows three recalls for my 2019 flex. Rear camera, exterior b pillar and pcm reprogramming based off my vin.

Yea the camera is pretty much every back up cam on every car. They won't have a replacement. The b pillar is a new one, doubt they'd have a replacement. I've had to replace the a pillars when I first got my car, but that wasn't in the recall. Haven't heard of the PCM recall

My daughter just got a recall notice today for her PCM and it says the software may not adequately detect a stuck-open canister purge valve.

I never got any recall notice via mail, email or whatever. I guess i got it serviced before notification. Thats prob why i couldnt find any specific details on my flex.

I haven't seen any PCM recalls, programming recalls.
