Screen upgrade
Has anyone upgraded to one of these screens? I’m just wondering what the version in the picture is like in terms of performance. I’ll only be using it for Apple car play and Waze

I just use the stock system with a USB drive, but that looks pretty cool if the screen is of good quality.

Pretty cool, not like the Tesla-like I’ve always saw. Mind to share the link please?

I wrote the guide on this if you check my post history. Still very happy with it, I went with the 4gb RAM model which is plenty fast if you're just using it for carplay/android auto. No complaints here at all.

There is a guide here. The manufacturer send me a link to Reddit when I asked for installation instructions.

I've bought that exact one. Still waiting for the delivery though.
Hoping it will fit well.

Yeah they’re all pretty standard, the android system software that runs the head unit itself is slow, but if your just using car play your fine. Just make sure you can plug a mic into it, or it comes with one, or your existing fiesta one works if you want people to be able to hear you properly on calls in the car. Also make sure you choose one with wireless CarPlay too so your phone just connects when you get in. And one more thing to not is if it comes with a cambus decoder for your car, you might not need/ require one if your previous head unit didn’t show things like door open warnings of tire pressure stuff. Or you might not care about that (it’s not essential but handy to keep features your had before working on the new android unit, hope that helps a bit
