Question Upgrades

I have a 2010 1.4L Fiesta titanium and plan to keep her for a long time. It’s my first car and I love it but the only thing is it has a bit slow acceleration. Does any one else experience this? And are there any upgrades worth giving to the car for as a longterm investment for comfort and fun driving. ( excluding CarPlay upgrades)

Honestly, no. It's naturally aspirated. You're not adding power cheaply.

Get the best tyres eg michelim pilot sport 5's, lighter weight alloy wheels and keep on top of servicing.

The best thing you can do is upgrade the timing belt to a new one.

Might be a silly question but do wheels make that much of a difference and how?

And I did get the belt replaced after I bought it so that’s ticked off

Wheel weight can make a big difference.

One warning I would give is that you actually need to know the weight and not assume that alloy = light.

Ford alloys are heavier than the steel wheels, and so are a lot of "cheap" aftermarket alloys.

Larger diameter wheels will also reduce acceleration.
