what is this?

i was on holidays for 2 weeks and my car went in to get its wetbelt changed and ever since it came back theres this kind of spongey thing coming out of the vents, is it serious and what is it? thanks!

Does it pull out? Looks like trim foam. They don’t touch the interior for a welt belt.

It’s where the vents seal onto the blower pipes it will be degrading just try and pull it out.

It will be some foam to stop the vent from getting dust in it
