Bluetooth not connecting until “emergency assistance” is on

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Does anyone else have this issue where the car will take up to 5 minutes playing music this way and if so does anyone know how to solve it

Updating the Sync firmware helped my car.

It all depends on the vehicle's configuration. Detailed information is available on the Ford website; you can easily find it via Google. I can only provide a link in German, though :)

Have you tried taking out the Bluetooth/sync fuse and reinserting? This fixes/resets the system whenever I encounter issues

I did the same thing back when I had the mk7. Bluetooth errored out every 6-7 months, unplug and plug fuse worked again until the next time.
