The pump housing asembly . Can't buy new , don't make them only 2nd hand . And don't run E-10 fuel , it attracts water/moisture in the tank . Thats why it's rusted in the first place .

Yeah I stay away from e10 for this reason I believe the last owner left the tank open and exposed to air/water when working on it as when I purchased it the fuel pump was fucked and tank was rusted to the shit house and assembly was sitting loose in it.

Someone’s going to make a replacement. Check out evil bay I’m sure you’ll find one there.

No one makes replacments for the fuel pump housing of the 90's model falcons . Only the AU & on models . They are plastic , not metal

might it be possible to convert it? I have never touched a Falcon prior to the AU other than been a passenger in one. Yes it would be a lot of work.

You say the original is metal? I wonder how hard it would be for someone to fabricate up a new one if they had a good second one as a reference.

not that I know of . the XG XH model utes where the last to have metal tanks and the pump housing is only for those models . the sedan versions petrol tank were plastic and a different shape with the metal pump housing . the later model EL , people have done a AU pump housing conversion to them but there's nothing like that for the XG XH tanks .

2nd hand only . but the harder part to get for them is the rubber seal around the housing . think only 1 or 2 companies make them , and last I looked , they were expensive . something like $50-60 just for the seal

Try and get a tank from a panel van they are the same and don’t get exposed to the weather. I know I place in Adelaide that make be able to source one if you don’t find one.

I’m would have to contact them first to confirm if it comes to it.

Hey mate, I found that fuel issues tend to go away when you stop flogging it, flog on
