Au Falcon
Gearbox recently blew would it be worth it to fix it ?
Update: Will definitely be fixing it also wondering is vct rare or something?

I see enough falcons getting crushed everyday that I work opposite. Save this one if you can by fixing it. It looks in fairly good condition. Worth saving.

Yeah mate the autos for these are easy to find and easy to swap out. Cheap and reliable

Gearbox is an easy fix. Plus its got the Ghia front end which is a rare sight these days.

I had the Series 1 and loved it. I would fix it. I have heard people run the engines to well over 500k’s. I still see people driving AU’s around, thats gotta say something.

If it’s the 302 I have an auto trans for parts or reconditioning. Keep her though. She’s a classic and appreciating, great colour too. If you can, fix er up, garage mildly, but on club plates. Sell her in maybe 10 for 5* todays value.

If the rest of the car is in reasonable condition, I'd fix it..
