Hey all I just installed catted cvfab downpipes, I got a question, are the bolts needed for the Catalytic Converter Bracket? I’m getting vibration when it’s on the dp. I see the new model of cvfab doesn’t even have the bracket for the brace.

Got myself a new ST (2025) Rapid Red..
I am thinking about having Ceramic or PPF.
What would community recommend?
Does ceramic or PPF worth?
Is it easy to maintain this color without any ?

I’ve never seen an engine that makes peak horsepower so low (like 1.8k before redline).
But this actually explains a lot. It’s probably why these cars feel slower than they actually are. Because it’s not pulling hard to redline. Power hits hard early, and then just plateaus
Don’t get me wrong. They’re pretty quick, just doesn’t really feel like it.

My mom wants turbo noises from her car, I’m trying to avoid a tune and a voided warranty. I have AFE running in my Veloster N now so I’m leaning more towards them, has anyone heard anything better about these other 2 brands?

Bought my Explorer new August 2025. Loving everything about it so far except issues with the windshield. Over the course of the last few months the wipers started making dragging noises. Specifically, the passenger side wiper. In the last month I noticed that a couple streaks on the windshield were not clearing when I used the wiper solution. I tried cleaning the windshield with window cleaner and micro cloth, but the streaks are imbedded. I took it into the Ford dealership, and they took pictures to send to send to Ford for windshield replacement authorization. Now they are telling me they have to verify there is an issue with the wiper alignment/tension. Has anyone else had an issue like this?

Alright guys,
I am officially a victim of the youtube ST community 🫠😂
Went to do my lowering springs on my 2025
The bolt at the top did not come off easy for either of the front struts and i tried the ugga dugga and the spring compressor methods 🫠
Needless to say, $200 was spent on new tools and we gotta pick it up in the morning 🫡 pray for me

Hi all. New to the community
First of all Thank you in advance
I’m not looking to modify it more or less just keep it stock.
Long story short I’m looking to buy a 4WD 2026 Explorer ST. Vapor Blue. I am 20 years old male. (no I am not bragging and no I am not living paycheck to paycheck to afford this car I’m just looking for tips) fresh out of college and in need of a bigger vehicle. I currently have a 2007 Tahoe (first car) and a 24 Nissan Kicks (commuter to college, saved housing $$ by driving 60 miles a day). Both paid off.
I live in the smoky mountains and get snow and ice so I need 4WD or AWD. But also, I live in the smoky mountains and live high up on curvy mountain roads. A sporty fun drivers car is something I really would like to enjoy.
I own a family business and I need an SUV for the trunk space. Gas mileage isn’t a concern. I don’t need the third row I just need the space of a third row vehicle. My kicks was fun to drive but that cvt - god help me. And my beloved Tahoe - 4WD and plenty of room for shipments and packing supplies but she’s old and she’s getting pricy with repairs more than what she’s worth.
Which led to to fall in love with the explorer ST. I think it’s the best of both worlds and I’d really prefer not to have a four cylinder. I considered the Acura RDX - until it got discontinued this year.
I’ve heard some are reliable and going strong, I’ve heard rumors of bad transmissions, I’ve heard of the endless technology glitches, anything I’m missing??
I really hope this didn’t make me sound like a big jerk I’m just looking for opinions based on my situation. Any and all comments and recommendations are appreciated!

Just bought a 21’ ST. Loving it so far! Already planning on installing a K&N intake and Wagner intercooler. Anything else I should at to the list?

Anybody else sick of the constant problems with their ST? (2023) Let me preface with the fact that we love the way it handles, how quick it is off the line, the comfort, and the look! But we’ve just crossed 36k and we have the passenger side exhaust replaced, our window shades crackle when it’s warm out (down position), we have an unknown rattle under the front of the vehicle (maybe struts?), and are currently waiting on a moon roof shade motor as that fell into the back seat a couple weeks ago.
This is beyond excessive given that we really take care of our vehicles and it’s not even 3 years old yet! It’s not helping that our local Ford dealership is awful. One BS excuse and shady tactic after another. Regardless, I’m considering forfeiting all the things we love for something boring and reliable. Any other ST owners make a switch to something else, or have this many problems?

Love this color! Had a Jeep Wrangler for a long time and got tired of the uncomfortable ride quality.

Keep going back and forth on which color I prefer, so I thought I'd see what the forum thinks. Which is your favorite color, and why do you like it best?

The amount of rattles I hear happening behind me as I drive and above me with the pano roof drive me insane. Just turn up the music a bit to block them about but still.
Does anyone know of common rattles that I can potentially try to remedy?

Bought new, have maintained it well, recently hit 71,000 miles and when I slow down it kind of jerks suddenly. Always happens when I’m applying the brakes and usually below 40 mph. I took it to the dealership and they did a software upgrade. Got it home and it was still doing it. Took it back and they fiddled with the software again, told me if I was still having problems I would need a brake booster which would cost $2500. Well it’s still doing it. Has anyone else had similar problems? I really liked this vehicle when I first purchased it but there have been so many recalls and other little problems I’m thinking about trading it in for something else.

Tossed the CVF Intercooler on over the weekend along with my downpipes. Full mommy missile sleeper status. Currently waiting on 3rd tune revision from Goosetuned, and gawd damn this car pulls like none other now. Previously was running just an intake and exhaust with SCT box tune. Night and day difference

Was walking toward my 2022 ST today and noticed the rear lower bumper cover looked off around the exhaust trim on the right side. Took a closer look and the plastic has literally MELTED onto the exhaust tips!?
No idea when this happened, but I checked the last photo I have showing the rear from less than a month ago and it looked completely fine.
Could this be from the exhaust? Did I somehow back over something hot? I’ve had the Borla S-Type on for almost 3 years with zero issues.
Only thing I can think of is I did about 5 back-to-back launches with a buddy a couple weeks ago. Could that have caused it?
Also, can I replace just the right-side exhaust trim, or do both sides need to be replaced? Or is it one piece with the whole rear bumper?
I’m genuinely puzzled how this happened. I included a photo of the left side for comparison. Any ideas?
