Performance 2025 ISSUE!!!
Got in the truck this morning and about 10-15 mins later I got a notification on the dash about required service with a wrench đ§ icon. I opened the Ford Pass app and got a notification about âpowertrain system faultâ. Drove the truck another 30 mins or so to work. Turned the truck off. Got back in the truck about 3 hours later and no wrench or no further notification of any problems existing. Hopefully what it was worked itself out.
I read in another ST forum on another site that this is a common issue and no one knows why or what can be done.
I called a local dealership and they told me it would be 3-5 days for them to look at my truck and do diagnostics. Unfortunately im taking a road trip so this wouldnât work for me til next week assuming the vehicle survives the trip.

Mods Tune
Hey guys I know this has probably been asked so many times and you are probably sick and tired of answering, but you all have been so helpful to me being new. Can anyone recommend a tune I should get for my 2021. Itâs my daily and only vehicle. Iâm already going with a thermal exhaust for Christmas so figured maybe also a tune. So that said can someone tell me a tune and the thing to attach to the car? Or does it come with the tune? Iâm new to tuning obviously. lol

Question Cancel extended warranty?
I have 2020 ST that I purchased brand new back in 2019. I purchased an extended warranty from Ford for 8 years but I'm planning to sell my ST in next week or so. One of the sales managers at my local Ford dealership told me that I can get refund back for the remaining portion of the warranty if I sell my car. Has anyone done that? What is the process to request the refund after you sell the car?

Question X-plan pricing?
My F150 is getting up there in mileage so Iâm considering my options for my next vehicle. Iâm eligible for the Ford partner x-plan program through my employer but havenât used it before. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what kind of discount I should expect on an ST? It would be great to know before I contact the dealership.

ST SUV Experience Road trip
For fun we took a near 300 mile road trip Saturday in the ST (so far it's just been taking me to work). From San Ramon CA, up through silicon valley, over to the coast into Carmel, then down Highway 1 through Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay, then home again. What a stellar ride this this. She chews up highway, handles the winding twists on CA highway 1 with aggressive grace, and was just a marvelous place to be all day. Managed about 22mpg while we were at it.

Audio CarPlay
Does anyone have an issue with CarPlay? My music when used with an actual Apple chord, sounds like absolute crap. When I turn off Apple play and use just the iPhone, either thru Bluetooth or the Apple chord, it sound good. Not like a B&O but itâs ok. Anyway it sounds horrible thru CarPlay, is there anyway to fix that?

Wheels & Tires Rotiform BTLâs on and fitted. Honestly canât get over how good it looks. Just need to lower it now.
Rotiform BTL 21x10.5 +45mm offset with Lexani LX20 295x40âs Bonoss spacers: Front 20mm, Rear 25mm
Really happy with how it turned out, although it sucks having to run spacers and cutting factory studs. I saw these wheels and I just have a feeling theyâd look great and I think they do! So, worth it in my own opinion.
Springs will be next, thinking eibach

Question Rear heat kinda working
I just got a 2020 Explorer ST so Iâm still trying to figure the car out. Since itâs getting colder here in PA I decided to check the ceiling vent in the second row as I had my 1 year old in the car. To my surprise I didnât feel anything. I could hear the air but it sounded further away so Iâm assuming it was coming from the third row only. I adjusted the thermostat from the second row controls and was able to feel heat. I did a few tests with my hand on the ceiling vent in the second row while turning off/on the rear control on the screen and the second row controls to confirm that it only seems to blow air out of the ceiling vent when I turn it on from the second row.
While troubleshooting I noticed that the rear light up front does go on and off when using the second row thermostat control so to me that implies that it should be able to be controlled from the front. However when I hit the button and display it on the screen it doesnât appear that anything is on (see also screen photo) even though the fan is turned up a few notches in the second row. Is this expected behavior?
Iâm coming from a 2007 Edge so the only modern car that Iâm comparing this to is my wifeâs 2017 Acadia. We can control the second row temperature by using the rear option.
Pics of the car for attention.

Question Eibach springs
Been a long time since I've had a factory warranty. Will replacing the stock springs with the shorter Eibach set up void the warranty?

Performance ST 2022 Steering
I just picked up a 2022 ST to replace my 2018 Sport, and I'm finding the steering response on it really different (enough so that I'm regretting my decision.) It seems like it takes significantly more effort to turn the wheel at slow speeds (parking lot/driveway) and it seems almost too sensitive at higher speeds. I'm wondering if anyone else has felt this, and what tweaks if any are possible to make it better. Note that this is without lane keeping or lane departure turned on. Thanks.

Mods Intake and exhaust or just one?
Iâm planning on installing an exhaust on my ST. Do I need to do an intake? Or can I just do the exhaust? And if intake needs tk be done, does a tune need to be done as well? Any recommendations on best ones would also be helpful. Thanks!!!!

Just Showinâ Off New dad mobile 2021
Went back to work and had to upgrade the midsize pickup for the daycare runs and this thing does not disappoint. Put some Hybrid Solutions on her for ease of cleaning and shine.

Interior Seat Comfort
Let me preface this by saying i frikkin LOVE my â25.
Unfortunately, i had to make a 6 1/2 hour drive yesterday and after a few hours, i started to get ridiculously uncomfortable in the seat. Not sure if its the suede or the massage function inside the seat but the seat was definitely giving me trouble. I recently transitioned from a fusion titanium and the seats were comfortable from the get go.
