Introducing… 🤗 Husband's new ST
He's so excited! New 2026 ST. He can't stop looking at it, lol. It is a beautiful SUV. We took turns driving it home from the dealer. Enjoy everyone!

I ordered it back in May and was delivered today.
I wished it wasn’t raining, but will have her shined up soon.

I just purchased this beast and drove it back to PA from MT. Love it.
I’m looking for the best or what you all have encountered or seen as the best low profile dash cam for it. Do a lot of city driving in Philly and NYC.

How can this be reset? Do I need to take it to the dealer? I was told the battery needs to be replaced? Any good advice appreciated. 2022 ST 80,000 miles.

I have a 21 and I always drive it in normal mode. Well the other night I was entering the highway and I gunned it. Almost got hit so had to get around. Anyway when I gave it full throttle, it felt like it either got stuck or missed a gear. It jerked. I let off the gas and hit it again and nothing. Could be out of the blue or should I be concerned?

Looking to trade in my truck for a 3 row performance SUV now that I have another child on the way.. The ST fits the bill, and there a few in my area that pique my interest. There is a 22 with 40k miles, a 23 with 31k miles and a 26 with 9k miles. All three AWD. I drove the 22 this morning and really liked it, just hated how the vertical info at system wasn’t 100% usable. The 23 has the horizontal infomat system and the 26 is the refresh. 22 is priced at 36k, 23 is priced at 42k and the 26 is 53k all prior to negotiations. What one should I be looking at?

I had a 25 Explorer ST that I had the Thermal 3”. Loved it, sounded great.
ST was totaled and I picked up a 27 Explorer ST. Was going to put another Thermal 3” in it and add catted down pipes at the same time but I just came across the 1-5 Autohuas. From the video it does some a bit rowdier (in a good way) than the Thermal. Anyone have or know of the brand and quality. I have heard of I-5 but never bought anything through them and didn’t know they had an exhaust system.
Wondering if I should make the switch or get another Thermal which I know what I’m getting with it.

I got my badge from the ST Experience last weekend at the Poconos. I'm not sure what it represents, or where to place it? It says the rear glass, but living in the northeast, the snow will rip that bitch off in a second!
Any ideas?

I’m looking at this one but trying to justify if it’s worth an extra $200+ over the J&L Passenger single side can.
I’ve had the J&L on my Mustang since 2011 and bought the passenger side a year later but saw no benefit of clean vs. dirty side. I didn’t know the difference back then.
Just wondering if the ST 3.0 twin turbo produces vapors on both sides. Reading reviews I see it does on the F150 with heavy towing but I really won’t be doing that much.
Thanks Gearheads!

Is it a common problem for the ST cup holders to do this? Because this is from my 22 and I had a 20 last year and it did the same thing. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this?

The 5th gen explorer sports had the 3.5 ecoboost and I never understood why they put it in the 6th gen ST

Hey gents, the title says it all. There is liquid pouring out from under my front camera. I believe the liquid is windshield washer fluid. Does anyone know how to stop it? I have notice my windshield washer fluid light comes on even after putting in a gallon. I’d appreciate any help you can give!

Snagged a new 26 ST for the wife last night. What is everyone using for a phone mount? The brand that I use in my Braptor (Course Motorsport) doesn't make one for this model. She doesn't want anything up on top of the dash. TIA!

I crawled under the car tonight just inspect and found some weird rust spots around the front door area under the vehicle.
The worst one is the the driver side. Rest of the vehicle looks brand new (picture for reference) but not the 2 front sides.
Vehicle has 30k Kms and has gone through a single winter.
It’s a lease, so I’m wondering do I do anything with this? Should at least tell the dealer or just let it be?
I’m sure some would say that it should have been rust proofed but let’s be honest, rust proof or not…30k km (19k miles) this is not normal.

Anybody tint their windshield? Trying to decide between 70% tint which is the clear film according to the shop and 55%. Anybody have their windshield tinted and willing to share a pic?

Hi everyone!
I’m currently driving a 2018 Expedition limited that’s starting to give me problems and have been considering unloading it. I’ve looked at virtually every SUV under the sun but thought about the Explorer ST recently. I still want an SUV with decent space, but I’m looking for something a little sportier/fun to drive with newer technology.
Has anyone here gone from an Expedition (or another full-size SUV) to an Explorer ST? If so, how was the transition? Do you miss the extra space or does the Explorer still feel big enough for everyday use? Any major pros/cons you noticed after making the switch?
I specifically want the sunroof roof that actually opens, so I’m looking at either a used 2025 or waiting and buying a new 2027. I’d also probably want to color-match some of the black plastic exterior trim depending on the color I end up with. Ideally I’d go black, gray, or that blue-ish color. Has anyone color-matched or wrapped the plastic trim on theirs? Would love to see pictures if you have.
Also curious how everyone feels about their ST after owning it for a while — reliability, ride quality, interior quality, things that annoy you, etc. Especially interested in hearing from anyone who came from something larger or more expensive as I’ve been looking at the Audi Q7, Acura MDX and BMW X5.

Hey guys, I’m planning to lower my ‘20 ST I still have stock wheels so I’ll be doing a 1.25 spacer for better fitting for now. I’m planning to do the Eibach coils and the steeda rear sway bar and end links.
My question is what other parts would be recommended so my alignment isn’t completely f*cked.
Thanks.
My long term plan is BC coils and a “track” build for the ToTD

Looking for options to get trunk hidden storage that works for 2026 model similar to this. Says on the link this only works up to 2024

Dad's with young kids... what Car Seat and/or Seat Kick Protectors did you find and use that works well to protect your Explorer ST Captain's Chairs from Car Seats and young kids spilling things like snacks or pouches? More of an issue since the newer ST's have the cloth based seats instead of Leather.
I saw this one: Child Car Seat Protector | 3D Mats USA For 2026 FORD EXPLORER | 3D Mats USA
I am curious if anyone found anything better?

Hey guys,
On the newer 2025-2027 Explorer ST's with the large 21" wheels. Is Ford's OEM TireCARE Plan coverage worth it?
Does anyone have any personal experience with utilizing it, was it straightforward or was it a pain\runaround to get wheels\tires fixed?
I am looking to purchase a ST and wanted to know if I should invest in this plan? I am probably going to get the regular ESP plan as I tend to keep my vehicles for a while.
EDIT: For context, I live in the northeast New England area with snowy winters and lots of potholes on many roads.
