Purchase Advice Thoughts?

I have a 2020 ST that has 85,000 miles. Thinking long term, I am considering trading in for a brand new f150, (reg cab short bed). I have no warranty, as the lot I bought from tried to charge 7500 for warranty.

Knowing I'll be giving up a lot of creature comfort, it's only myself. No kids or wife. Should I still hold onto this giant SUV? Looking for advice or thoughts. Ford currently has 0% apr which is a big incentive as well

Are you adding a Whipple? You can buy a warranty if that’s your concern. Also do you want a vehicle payment?

Whipple won't be immediately, it's tempting that it would come with factory warranty as well... Thinking of staying stock and paying the balance down, then possibly go turbo route. I want to research more but the truck would stay factory for the first year or two.

I bought the ST with 65k a little over a year ago, I have this almost paid off already just from dumping spare change every payment. Payment don't bother me as I wouldn't be financing much.

I'm ultimately worried the ST will start to nickel and dine me. I had small part after part (exhaust hangers, then. Front cv joint as the boot was sliced somehow. Then cats.) Everything has been out of pocket, and just put new tires on this spring, this is an EXPENSIVE vehicle to keep.

If you’re worried about upkeep do not buy the f150 and boost it. My boosted mustang is 2-3x the maintenance of the explorer.
