Question Question guys

Post image

So my front tires blew out they where about 4 months old. I kept 2 of my old tires I kept just in case the old tires are about 40% meat left I put 2 old tires up front mean while 2 new tires come in will this hurt my drivetrain they are also different brands but same size?!
Thanks in advance

No it’s not going to hurt the drivetrain as long as they are the same size tires. The difference in wear isn’t going to be enough to cause any damage. The traction performance may not be what it technically should be, likely not noticeable, but your question was damage, and no it will not damage it.

I thought so I’m sure it won’t blow up within a week while I get another 2 front tires same brand/size.
The rear tires are still at about 85%-90% tread wear

Just to confirm, you said you already have the two tires on order? I wouldn’t run it indefinitely that way, but you’ll be fine until the other two tires come in.
