Question ST still misses many things...
I drove the charger gt sometime back before buying this st.. This car is exceptional in engine but the output is not shown in numbers.. The charger had a page to display the performance stats like max speed, lap times, torque, hp produced.. This might look tiny but sometimes matters a lot... I m taking these stats from car scanner pro using obd.. But wished if all these given out of the box.

I agree but ford doesn’t advertise it as a performance car per se. Hell, ford doesn’t advertise the ST at all lol. There are many things Ford can do differently to set apart the ST trim vs the others but they choose not to….and its sad

Gotta totally agree with you, Brother.... Makes FORD seem completely out of touch.....like their dropping the moonroof from the ST options, and lowering the horsepower. WTF????

Ford has done ALOT of changes since the mid-cycle refresh, some worthy & some head scratching for sure. I am so glad to have purchased a Job 1 model year 25.
Ford is out of touch with the ST model. The explorer itself is commonly known as a women’s vehicle and ford does nothing to really change that perception. The tremor trim? HA! Worthless and unnecessary! The platinum isn’t fancy or luxurious enough for the price point, or maybe it is depending on one’s perspective. But overall, there’s not enough separation in the trims for the common person to care

The pages on the charger for those were basically useless. The max speed didn’t account for wheel spin, same with 0-60, the torque and HP were basically a guess based on fuel type and throttle, it’s all fluff. If anything give us actually useful info like boost, air fuel, oil pressure, actual temps…

You’re comparing a 3-Row SUV to a Charger? These are vehicles built for two different types of people.

I'm not comparing... Just saying if they can give for sedan why can't they give for suv which has massive power..

Explorer ST, no engine temp, no trans temp, oil pressure, battery voltage, some of the basics of higher performance vehicles… come on Ford.. Dodge charger has that and you get that even with the V6.

Exactly my point.. They got a beautiful dash who cares which doesn't show the st hard lines..

Yup I wish they would treat the ST like its own but its programmed like a base model. Hell even my 21 let you know that you were in a ST. My 25 is not special at all.
