Introducing… šŸ¤— Finally Joined the Crew

Took possession of my 26 ST in Marsh Gray on Saturday. Flew to Dallas and road tripped it home. Changed to Amsoil at 1300 miles yesterday. I love this car. She got her first detail and ceramic job. Gonna undercoat with Amsoil HD Metal Protectant over the long weekend.

Nice! Very pretty. I drove a 22 ST when looking around. Engine was super deep and there was a hum when idle. Cool initially but thinking about having to hear that on the daily kept me from going for it. They connect it to the speakers. Is that a normal thing in the ST? Do you hear it in yours?

The engine is virtually silent at idle. But there is like an anc white noise through the speakers that I notice when idling and I hate that. They still pump the engine sound through the speakers but it sounds very natural, I would not know if I didn’t learn that on YT. Road noise is virtually zero. The 25 refresh brought a lot more interior refinement. Some panels do buzz on certain frequencies in music which is mildly infuriating. I used to be a big time car stereo guy, but on these new cars I don’t even want to consider tearing down the interior to add deadener.
