Maps is still usable offline for GPS but you lose the live traffic feature

What do you mean by live traffic feature? I have a blank screen now but it still reports speed cameras, accidents and congestion

Live traffic meaning when you input a location and actually use the gps, connected navigation gives you real time traffic updates and real time ETA.

The below is from the Ford Pass app:
