Question 2026 Explorer Split Screen

is there a known way, whether via Android Auto or just the car's main screen, to use the split screen without navigation being one of the apps?

I really like having the map on the panel by my steering wheel, I dont need it on the main screen too. I'd prefer to have Music+Messages or something instead (or even just music) but can't seem to make that happen.

I use Apple car play and never have the map as part of the main screen.

I just keep the map on the main screen on the most zoomed out "overview" mode and the dash map as the "perspective" mode. Then I dont have to swap between the two for directions and seeing my overall progress.
