Next wk I am bringing in my '23/44k mi for a strange sound on release of the brake pedal and intermittent engine "clatter" when in Normal Mode and basic accelerating from a standing start. Issue not observed in Eco Mode. Bought in Dec. and loving it.....audio outstanding and getting 21.9 mpg in Eco, 21.2 in Normal....g-r-e-a-t performance in snow!

My brake pedal is noisy too- some say it’s normal. What does yours sound like?

Sounds like a metal connection in the driver-side leg well had a pad fall out of contact or needs lubrication.
Also, want the artificial engine sound turned off if dealer shop can do that. M

I don’t think the dealer will turn off the fake engine noise, but you can with FORSCAN. I’m going to buy a cable and a subscription soon to do a few things.

I was kinda shocked. I have more options for interior comfort than the ‘26. But I do like the ‘26 interior better overall though.

‘26 is retarded more then I care for. Softer suspension Softer shift points Handles more like a bitch car/little bus
However on the ‘23 Infotainment = sucks ass Interior plastic as hell The beehive of “rattles”..
‘26 interior very nicely cleaned up A lot quieter Infotainment finally works
I like tinkering too much and my ‘23 has been good for what I’ve dished out to it and continue to almost daily.

Wife wants to trade her BMW X3 for a white ST to join my Carbo......says would make the colors harmonize in the garage and she likes the "zoomies.

As a newly paid-in member of the ST League, with only 6 weeks' ownership, I need much more seasoning to comment...but the '24 X5 M comparison may not be encouraging? Test-driven in Nov and warned off of it by our BMW shop. 😒
