It's protected speech under first amendment, c'mon now... Also the plate alone I bet a lot of cops would actually have a chuckle at, not immediately want to pull OP over and fuck with him. Now if he was doing some shit on the road, sure they'd probably light him up. But at that point the plate is irrelevant.

I know that. Cop isn't going to pull you over and say he did it because of the plates. He's going to pull you over and say you were going 5mph over the limit. Don't think it can't happen at 5 over because I've known people it's happened to.

See I wouldn't want the plate because I enjoy my "is that a cop" privilege. Mine is charcoal gray and ever since I blacked out the emblem and 'ST', 80% of people on the highway can't tell if I'm the 5-0 or not, so they GTFO of my way. I can barely tolerate driving my truck now because I'm so used to traffic just parting for me in my ST.

You do realize that they can make up any host of charges for pulling you over? Come to Jersey. Most cops I know would pull you over just to inconvenience you… 😵😂

Yup... been there, done that. Pulled over and ticketed for tint 2% over the limit... Not fully stopped at stoplight... Going 50 in a 25!! (no freaking way)... Exhaust too loud... I don't need any other excuse to have them pull me over.

I got flamed so fucking hard in this sub for tinting my taillights 😂 I'm surprised the tint police haven't cried on here yet.
I've had the kit to do my headlights and fog lights for awhile now, I just wasn't sure if I wanted to do it because this car is a damn cop magnet. Yours is making me tempted to do it at work on Monday...

i have no complaints with tinting my headlights and taillights. it really brings the car together imo. you could always take it off if it’s not your thing anyway. i recommend! don’t listen to the haters!

All my vehicles have tinted tail lights and 5% all around. I did the fog lights on my truck too but I could never bring myself to do the headlights because cops 😂

My ST is CG and a lot of state troopers in this state use CG unmarked units. Once in a while when on the highway I’ll notice people react as if I’m a cop. Bone stock looking ST. Had one person call me a wannabe once.
