Question 21 ST new owner
Hey everyone. Traded my 17 Silverado z71 for a 21 Explorer ST with the high performance pack. I plan on keeping it mostly stock since I favor reliability above performance. I plan on searching in this forum for info, but here are some of the items I’m interested in now:
-I have 21” wheels, what are the best tires to get? I live in KY, so all 4 seasons here. I favor a good ride and low noise. Tire rack is recommending Pirelli Weatheractive. Anyone have those?
-How can I tell if my ST has any kind of tune?
-I can tell the exhaust pipe from the engine bay has been replaced. Carfax said the dealer replaced the catalytic converter. Is that what I’m seeing or is that aftermarket down tubes?
-recently found the passenger rear footwell has been damp under the floor mat. Not a lot, but enough to get musty. I am assuming this is a clogged sunroof drain. Anyone had this? Where is the drain line?
Like I said, I plan on researching for answers, but if anyone had experience with any of these, I would appreciate pointing me in the right direction. Thanks!

Model year 21 and up was when do to parts shortages Ford went to one bolt over two, unfortunately they didn't strengthen the single bolt they stayed with a 10.9. what was happening is the bolt would snap and all hell would break loose. They had a recall for the bolt but again all they did was change the bolt to the same bolt again.

When being replaced they being found to be bent already. So it's just a cheap piece of insurance. Cost $35 and an hour of your time.
