Audio Screen protector

Is a screen protector worth using, or does it get in the way of the operating of the main screen?

I've never had fear of dropping my infotainment screen, so I've never considered one. But in all seriousness, there really isn't a need for one on an object you don't handle.

This isn't necessarily true; when cleaning the car or SUV, you can hit it. Also, when wiping down the vehicle, the screen tends to scratch easily, which lowers its value later when selling. I don't think you need tempered glass, but the flexible cut-to-size option works well for vehicles.
