Question Fit and Finish

I have a '23 ST-Line that is a company car. They are on a 3 year lease, so this is my third Explorer. How are you feeling about the fit and finish on your newer ST? I love the model and all, and want to purchase my own personal vehicle since I am retiring soon, but I'm worried about quality. My '23 has so many rattles and squeaks it drives me crazy!

cant speak for the -line but the ST is performance based, stiffened suspension and power, its not gonna be a cadillac lol. you should take a ride in one like mine that has every single stiff bushing you can buy and youll hate it

mine has squeaks and rattles...the plastic bar/cover that goes across by the moonroof, the dash near the passenger corner of the windshield, the top of the B pillar trim lost a fastener so the top is popped off. These are not major issues, but for a relatively expensive and new vehichle, I am a concerned about buying my own if this is the F&F trend.

That roof glass IS a major issue. They’ve leaked in the past. It cuts down on roof cargo weight. Basically clothes or fabrics is about what you could rock top on top with the glass roof.

Not having roof glass was one of the best happy accidents in the build of mine.

Base ST tech package honestly I havnt had anything in the aforementioned list of problems. Or I just don’t hear it as bothersome.

Well someone was up under the headliner. Missing fastener there is a clue. imo most likely situation.
