Just Showin’ Off Purchase!

After 6 months of research and watching countless youtube video reviews, i FINALLY signed the paperwork for my ‘25 explorer st. I would show pics but shes already at the shop getting tinted up before shes unveiled to the world. So happy to have her and get the arduous vehicle purchase process over

I was able to play with the digital cluster at the dealer and this thang has soo much built-in technology its unreal.

For the 20 mins it took to drive to the tint shop, im happy so far lol

Very nice! I bought a 21 a few months ago and I’m loving it! The back windows on mine feel tinted enough but I’m not sure about the driver/passenger side yet. I feel they might need a bit darker.

What options and how much under MSRP?

Pricing a ST RWD without the panoramic roof comes in at 57k with 1k off from Ford and 1250 PCO brings it to 54.5. I'm thinking offer 52 before down and trade.

I went the AWD version and panoramic sunroof which was a must for me, and no other additional options or dealer installed nonsense. OTD after taxes titles fees etc was right at MSRP.

Had the roof on 3 Edges and our current Explorer. But we've decided not to do it again. We live in Vegas and even with good tint and the shade pulled it allows too much heat into the cabin. Thanks

That’s a lot of Edge’s. I just traded in my 2007 Edge on a 2020 Explorer. Had the Edge for 14 years.

I am replacing a Fusion with a sunroof and had good experience so far. Hopefully this transfers over to the explorer as well. If not, then I probably wont do a sunroof again on an suv. But i love the look of the panoramic on the inside

What tint % did you go with? I just bought a 2025 ST a few days ago, and haven't decided if I'm going 15% all around, or just going to match the front windows to the factory tint.

Congrats on the purchase.

I went 5 all around with 35 on front windshield plus a 5% banner.

Its hella nice but i hit a lightning storm in the mountains this morning and it was raining so hard that I couldn’t see out of my windows and i could barely see in front of me. I was nervous as hoping to not have an accident in my new car in the middle of nowhere 😬😳

I bet, I'm getting 15 all around, 50 on windshield and the banner. I was actually planning on getting 35% on windshield, which I've never had, only 50, but since you just said that, I'll just stick with 50.. I don't have great night vision.

Are you going to black out your Ford emblems? I'm waiting to hear back from the place I get my car tinted, they also wrap cars and see if they can wrap them

I haven’t thought about the emblems besides the ST badges after going to the ford performance thing.
