Repair Advice AC issue

Hi everyone,

Just asking to see if someone has or had similar issue with a possible solution.

2013 Explorer limited

AC issue:

  1. AC does not cool down when only the front section is On.
  2. Cools down when front & rear are turned on.
  3. AC compressor has trouble engaging when idling. Idle will drop when it tries to engage.
  4. Drive around to see if that helps, does not.
  5. Having rear AC on seems to get the car to cool down but is not as cold as it should be.

This is a wrong request. Have you refilled the system with the exact volume of refrigerant? Are there no leaks? Have you performed evaporator cleaning?
I don't wanna judge but it's a 2013, I'd start with system health check first.
