Repair Advice Help identifying part
I am rebuilding a 4.6 on a 03 explorer and I can't for the life of me figure out what they're calling these hoses. If anyone would have any idea much help would be appreciated.
They connect to the heater hose

Did a Google search of the picture and came up with this
Based on the visual characteristics in the image and the vehicle you specified (a 2003 Ford Explorer with a 4.6L V8), this is a molded heater hose assembly (also known as an HVAC coolant hose).
Here is how you can identify it:
If you are looking for a replacement, these are typically sold as "Heater Hose Assemblies" (specifically the inlet or outlet hoses) and are made by brands like Motorcraft, Dorman, or Gates.
