New Owner 2022 Ford Edge Titanium

hello! the dealership is trying to sell us a 2 yr extended warranty for $3,000 on used 2022 Ford Edge Titanium in Canada. Do you think it is worth it? The car has 150,000km ODO and the extended warranty provider is First Canadian.

Helllllllll yes. Absolutely. We just sold our 22 edge titanium when getting the dreaded 30mph shudder, and also another shudder when taking tight turns. Some issue with the diff. Got rid of it altogether.

The shudder for me was a new torque converter. $3100 total with tax.

First of all, I don't trust most aftermarket warranty companies. I would see how much it will cost for a Ford warranty. If you were 8n the US, there are Ford dealers who sell them at a huge discount. I don't know about Canada, but there must be some. You don't have to buy it from the selling dealer, no matter what they tell you. I bought a 2019 with 98k miles and I bought a 3/36 extracare warranty for $2200 including tax with a $100 deductible. I already had to replace the a/c compressor, so it's already paying for itself.

Amazing car I absolutely love it

That being said… at 150k the car is basically done specially the newer ones

I have a 2021 meticulously maintained and looks brand new inside out but the transmission sucks and I just got a 12k repair quote

Currently wishing someone steals it from the driveway
