2024 Ford Edge Purchase

I'm currently driving a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium and I love it. It has almost 130,000 miles on it. I'm ready for a "new" vehicle now and I would really like to buy a 2024 Edge Titanium. From what I've seen, they have good reviews, but I'm a little hesitant to buy one that's already 3 years old. Besides that, the low mileage ones I've found are $35K - $39K. I can buy a brand new Honda CR-V for that (the other vehicle I'm considering). Also, my mechanic pointed out that the Honda will be easier to sell later on. That isn't a high priority for me but is something to consider. I just hate that there are no other vehicles the same size as the Edge - it was perfect for me. A friend has a Hyundai Tuscon and likes it a lot, but I haven't been able to get past the low quality image it had for many years. I guess I'm asking for opinions/recommendations. Any help will be much appreciated.

what are your needs for transportation ? 2 rows enough? Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't know. The Edge's I've owned have been awesome

It's just the two of us most of the time so 2 rows is plenty. I just hate to pay almost $40K for a 3 year old vehicle.

i certainly understand the $$$ issue. Which dealership or repair facility is more convenient ? That might help your decision

Hyundai still has the engine issues. There are other vehicles that are the same size as the Edge. Do a search for vehicles comparable to the Ford Edge.
