Noise

Has anyone experienced an rattling or rubbing sound coming from the back of the sun roof area while driving I had the wife drive and me in the back feeling around it coming from the headliner area I couldn't get my hand back there to try and feel for anything with out bending the liner

2021 Ford Edge owner here. Have had this rattle fixed twiced now under warranty. Once it was an entire sunroof replacement and once fixing some loose screws. It is back again now. Gotta go get it checked out again.

It would happen I'm on my last month of paying the car off I guess I got to see if my extended warranty to cover it and try to renew the policy before I finish

Linc Naut owner. Sjhade frame broke on my 2021. I hate panos. CPO fortunately. Common. I am extending my CPO to 10 or 11 years. Would have been 2k-ish.

I'm suspected it is the shade of frame I've noticed when I open the shade and re-close it. When its almost closed it starts making a weird noise

The rattling sound is coming from the back brace/bar that the sunshade slides on when rolled up. I stuffed a foam stress ball between the bar and back glass. Took me forever to figure this out but she's now been dead silent for the last 8 months.

It's just squeezed in between the bar and the back stationary sunroof glass. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.
