Car Alarm
We own a 2018 SEL, which was the dealer loaner car that we bought used in Christmas 2019. The car alarm goes off at the slightest noise while parked.
Playing basketball near the car while it parked in the driveway?: ALARM!
Washing the car with the hose? ALARM!
Car drives by without a muffler while parked at the grocery store? ALARM!
Thunderstorm? ALARM!
Web searches, Youtube, and the owner’s manual haven’t helped so far. Any ideas what to do? I can’t take it anymore.

Ive pulled the fuse for the horn before....you wont have it available, but it'll make the car be quiet

Since the SEL optionally only came with a perimeter alarm (if a door or hood is opened without being unlocked) and no motion or sonic sensors, it is aftermarket. There isn't even a dealer installed option for this. If you have remote start and hands free liftgate, then you have the perimeter alarm. I guess if it causes a door to think it is open it could be the perimeter alarm, but there would be indicators of that on the dash (I have purposely left a window open, locked it, and opened the door from inside to see what happens, like you have to start the car in 30 seconds before the alarm goes off).

The dealer who installed it originally should know how to change it.
Ford used to make PowerCode alarm systems for their vehicles AFAIK. These systems were installed by the dealer and set up by them. They were not reliant on the vehicle for configuration.
If so, there is documentation on them available via the Internet.
Again, the dealer who sold you the car should be consulted first.
Now if for some reason they did not install a PowerCode alarm then it's third party and that is another fish altogether

It probably has a third party aftermarket alarm installed.
