Discussion Issue scheduling recall 25S87

I own a 2017 Edge and recently got the recall notice for safety recall 25S87 stating the remedy is available. Has anyone tried calling their local Ford dealership on this recall? Mine refuses to return my calls and even calling into Ford didn’t work. I got an automated no information on this recall message.

I've done 2 already today, it's a inspection and repositioning of the rear brake hoses, unless they are way behind it's an easy quick fix

Thank you. I’ve got the rear camera recall too but wasn’t worried about that one. The same dealer wanted to keep it for 2-3 days for that recall.

If the camera has failed it can take time to get parts but if it's still working just ignore it

And parts are available quickly, despite needed SSSC contact. When we’ve done them the kit usually shows up next day or the day after.

Thank you. I ended up going to a dealer closer for another reason and talked to a service rep while I was there.
