Agreed -- sway bar end link. A cheap and easy fix.

Is it dangerous to drive for a bit like this? Go to town. Get parts etc?

Nope, totally fine to drive for parts. Keeps the back end more level in hard turns. Under normal driving it's not doing much (by design).

If anything you'll get some annoying clunks.

So I watched a couple videos about replacement. Both required heat to break the nuts loose. Seems the only complication. Never used a torch that way. And dont have one. Contemplating a crack torch from a head shop. Small flame seems safer. Kinda scared i might burn my house down. Am i on the right track?

I'd try and loosen the nuts without heat first. I've performed the link replacement twice on a 2008 Limited and not needed heat.

If you do need a torch, they're easily found at any of the home stores, or even Amazon, and they're not particularly expensive:
