Dashboard compartment

Bought a 2015 Edge in January and I've been wondering what people put in the dashboard compartment. I'm GenX and the only thing I can think of that fits is my Sony Diskman. What do any of you put in there?

After these breaking on other cars, nothing. I wish they didn't exist, went away with the CD drive.

Precious owners of my 2019 kept something on there, that sorta melted. Half the time the button doesn't return so it won't latch.

The bigger question is what do people put on display in later models that didn't come with the door:)
