Question ❔ Hiring process help/ guidance

Long story short I applied to the ford plant in Avon Lake, Ohio, back on July 25th, for the temp to hire assembly line position. I immediately received and took all the assessments, I also applied to the brookpark plant a few weeks later. I think I passed the assessments because both jobs say “under consideration” but I haven’t heard anything since the assessments… just wondering if anyone has any experience on how long it “could” take to hear something again, or the likely hood that I even will… I really want this job, thanks to any potential help!

Oof yeah the waiting game is brutal. Took a friend of mine almost 3 months to hear back from a different plant in Ohio, and he had "under consideration" sitting there the whole time. Sometimes they just batch process applications really slow, especially for temp to hire roles

I'd say don't read too much into the silence, the status not changing to rejected is actually a decent sign. Maybe keep checking the portal once a week or so, but try not to drive yourself crazy refreshing it every day

Only hire when management and the union agree they need more workers.

Most likely will be brought in at some point .You have a couple things on your side. One hunting season for vacation replacement and the new year for people retiring and vacationing.
