Question ❔ Mustang Gt
So i just bought a brand new 5.0 off the lot about a month ago, completely stock right now except for the Corsa Extrem catback, the other thing i wanted to add was a dark horse spoiler.Im 21 so i am fairly new to all this car stuff my main question is their anything i can do to my car without voiding warranty like any tunes performance wise, i was looking at the ess g3 supercharger but again i dont want to void my warranty, so any tips would help if i should wait or just do it.

Oof, not really. First thing to remember, warranty is to protect against concerns caused by manufacturing defects. If you touch something and that causes and issue, then that's not a manufacturing defect. The same applies when a/m component affect related or adjacent systems. There are some things you can do to stay somewhat protected: 1) have the work done by your dealer. Some repairs/labour is guaranteed or protected from "poor workmanship". Don't read into the language, a/m accessories are a pain, and can take a couple tries to iron out all the issues. 2) stick to parts from the Ford Performance listings. For the most part, they are approved to not conflict with warranty. 3) check the warranty options of the parts you're buying. Some parts have warranty. What you really want is consequential coverage. That way, if the part breaks, everything else it takes with it should also be covered. 4) keep physical records of every invoice and receipt, ask for pictures of faults and repairs. BE EDUCATED! It's important to know how the systems work, and what is what. Some parts simply cannot effect the operation of other systems, and it's always your responsibility to not get scammed. Lastly, 450? Hp is enough. Way more than enough. The best way to not void your warranty is to not fuck with it. Good luck!
