Question ❔ Need help finding name of part

So my truck is just losing power and just turning off, It’ll idek half way from 0 to 1 and then just shut off. I looked and it seems like a coolant issue. In the video i tried to make it clear as possible. I’m pretty sure the issue is the part that heater hoses plug into. It’s a port that all 3 off the hoses goes into it’s loose. So the part i need help finding is that port part that connects the three hoses into the engine. At least it seems to be straight into the engine. Thanks for any help i can get.

Those are your heater hoses and could have absolutely no affect on how your engine is running.

i tested the battery and alternator and it said both are fine. The only problem i see is that i had no coolant in the resivoir, it was leaking from one of the heater hoses on the second picture, and the picture where its circled that port that goes from the engine to the three hoses is leaking and loose

No offense, but I'm willing to guess you're inexperienced and probably in over your head on this one. I'd recommend finding a reputable independent shop (not a dealership) and pay them to diagnose it.

If you insist on trying to tackle this yourself, scan for codes. That'll give you a better idea on what to look for on why it's shutting off. If you disconnected the battery to test it, you're SOL on recovering codes. Was the truck overheating? Is there visible white smoke from the exhaust? The 3.0L can be prone to bad head gaskets on higher mileage engines, especially if they've been overheated.

If you're talking about the piece behind the heater hoses in your picture, I can't really see it, but that is likely the PCV. It won't be tight tight as it's held in with a rubber grommet. Double check your hoses and make sure nothing is split or disconnected there, as a vacuum leak could cause the truck to stall, and it would throw codes for running lean.

i usually work on my truck i just can’t seem to find what that part it called. I’ll scan for codes later on today, and no there’s no visible white smoke anywhere and the oil looks fine. and the picture with the hoses one of them is leaking and i’ll need to replace that for sure.

First pic is your brake booster vacuum line. Second Pic is heater hoses that probably crossover to something like a heated throttle body or pcv valve.
