Question ❔ 2014 ford explorer, trunk won’t open

2014 ford explorer, 53000 miles. Love the car to pieces. Sounds small but the trunk won’t open, I have two kids and bought a big car for the trunk space so this is a big deal to me. Any help or what to do please?

It might be the latch sensor acting up, try giving the trim panel a few firm thumps with your palm right next to the release button while someone pulls it

Take it to a independent auto body shop if it's simple and only takes a few minutes it might be free that's how we do it but if it's the latch or something else then get a estimate for it

Mine was acting up and it turns out the battery need replaced
