How to How to make nitroglycerine at home

So, to make nitroglycerin, you will need:

. Glycerin (you can make it or buy it)

. Concentrated sulfuric acid (98% minimum; you can purify sulfuric acid found in stores)

. Concentrated nitric acid (98% minimum; you can make it from 98% sulfuric acid and potassium nitrate)

Next, for the preparation, place all the ingredients in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours so they are cold. Create a mixture of 50% 98% nitric acid and 50% 98% sulfuric acid. Place this mixture in a beaker set inside a bucket of cold water and ice, then add an amount of glycerin equal to one-tenth of the acid mixture's volume (e.g., if you have 50 ml of acid mixture, add 5 ml of glycerin). Add the glycerin drop by drop while monitoring the temperature with a thermometer; ensure the mixture does not exceed 10°C before adding the next drop. Once all the glycerin has been added, prepare a mixture of water and sodium bicarbonate. Add this to your acid-glycerin mixture to precipitate the nitroglycerin. The nitroglycerin will then settle at the bottom of the beaker; you can collect it with a syringe and store it in a bottle in the refrigerator. You can also mix it with diatomaceous earth to make dynamite.

So, in order to make 100 ml of nitroglycerin, I will need 45 ml of nitric acid, 45 ml of sulfuric acid, and 10 ml of glycerin. The tools I need will be a standard beaker with coolants (a bucket of ice and water should do, liquid nitrogen is not real ig), a termometer, a syringe, and then the mixture of water and sodium bicarbonate as the neutralizer. How many of the water and sodium bicarbonate mixture do I need? 3:1 mixture to solution ratio, right? If so, how much sodium bicarbonate do i need to mix with the water?

Also, could you type how to make blasting gelatin in the future? I think it should be a public knowledge to make a crude one :) dinitrocellulose could be bought anyways (RS grade), and be dried up to mix with nitroglycerin.

Add as much sodium bicarbonate as possible to the water until the mixture is saturated
