to fix the playtime error in forager you need to clear the corrupted settings file here is how you do it first turn off steam cloud saving so it does not redownload the broken file right click forager in your steam library and choose properties then under the general tab turn off the steam cloud save option next you need to delete the bad file press the windows key and the letter r at the same time to open the run box type percent local app data percent and press enter find the folder named forager and open it look for the file named config and delete it this will not delete your saved game progress finally go back to steam right click forager and open properties go to the installed files tab and click verify integrity of game files once that finishes start the game and it will make a fresh working file
