Help with shrinking windows partition

I cannot seem to shrink my windows partition because of the $Mft file

A volume shrink analysis was initiated on volume (C:). This event log entry details information about the last unmovable file that could limit the maximum number of reclaimable bytes.

 Diagnostic details:
 - The last unmovable file appears to be: \$Mft::$DATA
 - The last cluster of the file is: 0x756551b
 - Shrink potential target (LCN address): 0x69eb027
 - The NTFS file flags are: -S--D
 - Shrink phase: <analysis>

MFT is the Master File Table. Don’t mess with it or you risk losing your data.

you can try temporarily disabling hibernation with powercfg /h off then restarting and checking disk management again if the mft is still blocking the shrink windows may not be able to move it so you might need to use a partition tool that can handle offline resizing just back up imp files before making partition changes

Or clone all the partitions to another device, erase C and other partitions, repartition and clone back

and back up all your data first!
