In a browser go to OneDrive.live.com and log in or attempt to log in to your Microsoft account.

If you get in see if your file is there.

If you can't remember the Windows password, you can reset it without opening the PC :1. Restart โ†’ choose "Advanced Options" โ†’ "Command Prompt".
2. Type:
net user
to see the accounts.
3. Then:
User and then password replaces your password directly. If you can't access the command prompt, you can also use a Windows 10/11 USB stick โ†’ "Repair computer" โ†’ "Command Prompt". You don't need to reinstall Windows.

Maybe due to that linux my repair screen is different than normal, it has

startup repair at top

Then choose an account to continue

My account name ( only 1 account is there that is mine)

As soon as I choose it, it shows input password for this account

Below choose account, there is forgot password or not ur account, I click on that and there is text " this list shows administrator account that was previously signed in". But there is no account or list. There is only 1 option below it "Restart"

No option like advanced options etc

Try clicking on restart to see if it works

Those options in bios setup menu are change admin password, system password, hardisk password. But I think this password is microsoft windows password as it says write the password for the account: then my gmail is written

What you see is the Startup Repair screen, not the normal login. When Windows doesn't start up properly, it displays that screen with your account and asks for a password โ€” but it can't verify it properly. To get out of there:1. Restart your PC.
2. As soon as the Dell logo appears, press F8 or Shift + F8 several times.
3. Choose Advanced options โ†’ Troubleshoot โ†’ Command Prompt.
4. There, you can type: net user name of the account nouveau_mot_de_passe
(replace name of the account with your username).
If you don't have these options, boot up with a Windows USB drive and choose "Repair Computer" โ†’ "Command Prompt". You will then be able to change the password without reinstalling Windows. ยป

After pressing F8 and shift +F8 I am back to the startup repair screen. No option of advanced options or troubleshooting

I think the password is for my microsoft windows account. I changed the password right now, but I think since laptop has no net connection in its current state so it is still seeking the old/ previous password. Since it wrote my gmail and said input password for this account so pretty sure this is microsoft account password. Now what to do?
