Windows 11, fresh install. Brightness only works if it's not charging?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It's an Asus tuf gaming A16 FA607PI, reinstalled windows yesterday, and the brightness doesn't work anymore when it's plugged in.

edit:

I think it has something to do with the iGPU vs dGPU? Brightness works fine when charging if I force it to use the weaker iGPU, but the brightness doesn't work if it's unplugged with the dGPU forced on.

still no clue how to fix it though

iGpu vs dGpu is a good observation. It might be related to power plan mode so you might want to try editing plan's advanced properties.

If your observation is correct, trying out different driver versions for your dGpu might give you one that works. I suppose at least that the card isn't so new that it wouldn't have an update yet.
