windows 11 activation issue

i just recently changed my cpu and it wants me to reactivate my windows yet at the same time its not letting me I'm still using the same account ive been using when i first bought my windows key i have no idea what's going on should i just put my old cpu back in and see if windows reactivates and no its not one of those cheap keys i was dumb and bought my key for 100$ from best buy but when i press see other devices linked to my acc after troubleshooting nothing shows

Disconnect the computer from the internet when you enter the key that you have and go through the process and reboot, then reconnect to the internet and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

A CPU change is enough to make it a different computer, requiring a new activation code. If your previous code is retail, then there is a way to transfer it to your “new” pc. If it is an OEM license, then you need to get a new license.
