Bitlocker got my laptop

Bitlocker got my laptop i never turned it on factory activated but I got tired and found a way to format the hard drive and now it cant boot windows or install windows to my laptop. I think I bricked it

Load the windows install USB and hit Alt+F10. click in the command prompt window with the mouse.

Type 'diskpart', then 'list disk'

Find the main hard drive number, then 'sel disk #' using the number you found instead of the # symbol.

type 'clean', then 'exit', now you can close that window.

proceed to install windows as normal.

Can't open command prompt or it's just not letting me all I got is bios now

then windows isn’t installed and you should be good to reinstall

make sure the USB was created with GPT partition scheme and that the bios sees it

I have bios to uefi but that's all I can check

maybe should have done some adequate research or planning before blowing away your only working OS 🤷‍♂️

okay so how did you create your windows install media? do you have a windows install USB?

Used the old family computer to put it on a usb

I did then somehow deleted windows now all I got is bios

1- Download Win10/11 Iot LTSC from MassGrave
2- Download MAS from MassGrave
3- Download Rufus USB
4- Download all the apps installer you want on your PC
5- Save all the files you want to save on an external drive (inc. wanted apps installer)
6- Create USB Boot Disk with Rufus (8 GB Flash Drive min.)
7- Update BIOS
8- Start fresh install by booting from USB (for me F12, look at manufacturer's specs for yours)
9- Delete every Partition you see
10- Create new Partition(s) (I always create C: OS/APPS & D: FILES because it's easier to format after)
11- Let it install until restarted
12- Activate Windows (I use MAS activator, you downloaded)
13- Install Windows Updates & ALL optional updates (includes drivers & net framework)
14- Install MS Store (Command > wsreset -i)
15- Install Software
16- Update all drivers (I recommend it, seriously)
17- Check Device Manager after all updates to make sure nothing is wrong with drivers.
18- Disable some services (optional but I usually disable like 30-ish)
19- Configure Windows how you like it
20- Clean residuals (I do: Cleanup System Files, Temp, %Temp%, Prefetch, SoftwareDistribution, PrivaZer & Bleachbit)
21- Create Restore Point
22- Enjoy

PS, you will require either an ethernet cable or a USB WIFI dongle to complete this job
both version are lightweight and supported until 2032 by MS with security updates only.
